Playing Croquet

Croquet is an exciting outdoor yard game that can be played by two to six players, depending on the size of your croquet set or croquet sets.  There are a number of different styles of croquet, so with one set you can change up your game plan and feel like you are playing a somewhat different game each time you play croquet.  Basically, in Croquet, the goal is to hit the croquet balls, with your croquet mallets, through a course of wickets.  The first person to complete the course and hit their croquet ball through all of the wickets wins.

Another version of croquet, that seems to be more popular in the mid-west, is Poison Croquet.  Poison Croquet is just like normal croquet, except once someone hits their croquet ball through all of the wickets, instead of winning the game their ball becomes poison and any other player's ball that touches or is hit by the poison ball is eliminated from the game.  The way to win is to become poison and eliminate all of the other players before they become poison and eliminate you in the same manner.
